Johnson & Johnson GrantsThrough health education and development, Johnson & Johnson aims to build skills and health literacy among a broad range of people serving community health needs, ultimately increasing community support, involvement and leadership in the public health arena. In keeping with this strategy, Johnson & Johnson, working in conjunction with the Global Alliance for Arts & Health, seeks to engage community healthcare workers, caregivers, families and artists in the practice of arts in healthcare.
Grant History: The Global Alliance for Arts & Health is partnered with Johnson & Johnson to enhance the healthcare experience for patients, families, and caregivers through support of innovative arts programs in healthcare settings. Since 2001, Johnson & Johnson and the Global Alliance for Arts & Health have provided program funding to 117 organizations in the US and Canada representing leading initiatives in high quality healthcare through the use of arts. In 2007, the grant structure was expanded into a multiyear format to support the replication of established programs with evidence of initial positive impact. |
